Self Portrait

Self Portrait

Definitely one of Dylan’s more controversial albums that certainly divides opinion – some hate it, others merely loathe it intensely.

Mood

I want this to be over now. I would really like to go to the pub or an art gallery or bowling*. *(Not really bowling)

Lungs

This is a dying tree that we see on our daily lockdown walk. I thought it looked a bit like the way blood vessels are depicted in lungs. Sadly apt.

Stop the World I Want to Get Off

I have a friend that I have not seen in many years. We used to work together and whenever things got a bit much for him he would say ‘stop the world I want to get off’.

People’s Faces

Not just any people. These are images of my mum and my uncle Jack long before I knew them.

Going Home

This is Anne on our way home after a day out in town. She is carrying a bag containing the spoils of our day at the sales but the real treasure lies in the memories of a fun time together.

Autumn Walk

It was a beautiful morning when I took Peppa out today. The sun shone so brightly and the leaves are that lovely colour they go at this time of the year. It felt distinctly wintry though I believe we are still in autumn.

Arty McArtface

I have been considering art for the past few weeks. These are the images that have stimulated my thoughts. I wanted to post them separately as images because I think they are thought provoking enough in that form but I am currently writing something that links them together….

Anne’s Birthday

I love our family celebrations. The shape of our family has changed a lot in the past five years. Today would have been a very different day. Friday was Adams 18th, the last of the children coming of age. So now they are all adults. Where next?
